Our Children

At the age of 3, I was brought to Cana Rescue Centre by my (now late) grandmother who had cared for me after my mother passed, and my dad was unknown to me. Although my grandmother attempted to care for me, there were many times we would go days without food. Now, at 24 years old I am among the oldest girls from Cana Rescue Center.

Being sponsored by Compassion for Africa has allowed me to complete my education through college. I have earned two Diploma’s, one in Hospitality and the second in Tourism Management from Zetech University in Nairobi.

Currently I am working at Rosslyn International Academy and living independently in my own place. CFA has provided me with many opportunities for which I am grateful and hope to be an example for the younger girls who follow.
