Electrine Edaya was born November 26, 2003. She and her sister Betty were orphaned after they lost both parents to HIV/Aids. Together with their siblings, they went under the grandmother’s care. However the grandmother has recently fallen gravely ill and is bedridden with diabetes, hypertension and serious gastric ulcers and is 87 years old. Although both girls were in Cana School, we were not able to take them to the home. Now the grandmother can no longer care for them and it is necessary to bring them to Cana Rescue Center. Marion Ondisa is their cousin.
