Cynthia~8~25~2012 Cynthia came to The Cana Rescue Centre in 2016 at the age of four. Her mother died from Cancer and TB when Cynthia was just two. Due to an absent father, she was passed from grandmother onto other aunties, both who were unable to raise her and often went for days without food. An aunt heard about Cana Rescue Centre through community workers so was welcomed into the Rescue Centre and began being sponsored by Compassion for Africa where all her needs are met, including education, and a warm loving, stable home.
Cynthia is currently thirteen and in grade six at Cana Kings Primary School. She loves washing utensils, hold babies, and wants to be a doctor.
