Cynthia came to The Cana Rescue Centre in 2016 at the age of four. Her mother died from Cancer and TB when Cynthia was just two. Due to an absent father, she was passed from grandmother onto other aunties, both who were unable to raise her and often went for days without food. An aunt heard about Cana Rescue Centre through community workers so was welcomed into the Rescue Centre and began being sponsored by Compassion for Africa.
Cynthia is currently eleven and in grade four at Cana Kings School. She loves washing utensils and wants to be a doctor.
