Lavender came to the Cana Rescue Centre when she was 13 years old in 2019. Once becoming an orphan, she lived with her financially unstable grandmother, who was unable to afford school fees, or basics needs. Desperate to help Lavender, her grandmother decided to seek help from Cana Rescue Center who took her in, and she soon began sponsorship through Compassion for Africa.
Lavender is 17 years old, finished her High School studies, and is currently volunteering at Cana Hospital and Clinic awaiting her next studies. She loves Jesus, drawing and dancing, she would love to pursue nursing when she completes high school.
