Patience is seven years old. She was rescued by a good Samaritan, as she had been abandoned by her alcoholic mother. She was then taken to Makadara Children’s Office where the office tried to trace the mother, but the mother disappeared leaving the child with nobody to take care of her. When she came to Cana Rescue Centre in January 2021, she was malnourished, traumatized, and not going to school. She is now attending school at Cana Kings School. Patience is being sponsored by Compassion for Africa and all of her needs are being met.
Patience is now living with her Cana friends, sleeping in a warm bed, eating good food and loving school and church.
