Shakur’s Mother died of HIV/AID when Shakur was a few days old. The baby was taken in by the mother’s sister, who also passed away in 2014. The burden for Shakur’s care was then left to the man with whom the auntie was cohabiting. He has since then got another partner and Shakur is evidently unwanted in that home. Shakur came to KINS Redeemer Children’s Home in 2017 at the age of eight. Compassion for Africa began sponsorship catering to his needs and education.
Shakur will enter Primary 7 in 2024, and works very hard at his studies. He loves football and playing after school.
