Dear Compassion For Africa Sponsors,
We wanted to give you a quick update concerning your CFA kids. The report is very encouraging as your kids are working hard in school and have just finished their exams. Judy from Cana, who pours into our girls and leads the 3G program, gave a great report as to how well the girls are doing. She shared that through their 3G training they are becoming much more open to sharing about their lives and are really encouraging one another to work hard and grow. Judy organized a training for the high school girls on “ MY HEALTH MY CHOICE” This is beautiful and will help them to live a strong and positive life. Judy also shares how grateful she is to God for His faithfulness. We are believing for strong Christ followers with all of our CFA kids. Thanks to Joyce Zalas for all her work in developing and leading the 3G training which gives all of our children such important life skills. Sponsors, with your love and support, you are providing not only food, a loving home, education, spiritual training but also these wonderful life skills taught through 3G.
Also the Cana kids got to attend the Nairobi International Trade fair show this past October where they learned about Agriculture and Farming as well as enjoying themselves and having a fun filed trip which is so educational and fun!!
Beginning in January 2017 we will have 20 out of our 45 kids who will be in boarding school and 7 who continue after boarding school in The Way Forward program through CFA. It is amazing that we are sending so many of our precious children to boarding school and giving them this wonderful opportunity for further education which will affect their futures powerfully. Thank you again for all you give to see these children grow.
We also wanted to let you know that there have been many housing improvements for our kids at KINS Redeemer Home in Jinja Uganda. They are very grateful, as are we. Praise God. This makes their living situation so much better and easier. There are also new improvements coming to help facilitate the 8 new children being brought into the home in January, 4 boys and 4 girls. Every child at KINS will be in boarding school this January except for one so 8 new precious abandoned or orphaned children are joining the family. We are asking for your help in assisting us to widen our circle of partners and find sponsors for these 8 children. The cost for sponsorship is $40 per month. Every penny goes to the children’s sponsorship. These kids are between the ages of 5 and 8 years old. We also have several others who need sponsoring as well, which brings our total to 10.
If you know of anyone who would like to sponsor a child please pass their information on to me by December 5th and I will contact them.
Thank you again for your support. As a team we will continue going forward, with God’s help and guidance, to see all our kids successful in Christ and helping birth a new and better future for abandoned children in East Africa.
James 1:27 states: 27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
Thank you for your help in this and God bless you all richly,
Ramona Wilson on behalf of the CFA Leadership Team
